Great time! Only complaint was the bigger girl working rentals was rude. Not customer friendly- made me very uncomfortable when trying to rent skis and obviously a beginner.
The skiing at Hermon Mtn was great , the beginners trails/2 of em for minimum agressiveness. Trail Was great to get my wife back on the ski's n get comfortable before going onto another trail at another Mtn in the area.
I went there for private classes 3 times and I am already going in black diamonds. The people there are very nice and very supportive. They are great at teaching. Other than that the trails are really beautiful and nice to practice new tricks on.
Our family loves Hermon. Easy trails, small mountain vibes which means sweet and friendly staff, and a big enough lodge area. My 4 year old was able to go down Slow Poke almost entirely on her own so it's a great beginner trail. Barely a line for the lift and a quick trail down so you don't get fatigued. Great for learners.The lady at the food area was so nice, the ticket ladies were very accommodating when we needed to switch our ticket to afternoon since we had to run into town because we forgot stuff and wouldn't be back in time for our early ticket, and the ski rental ladies let my sister and her husband use their skis because the bindings on the ones we brought in wouldn't go far enough. Wonderful service, wonderful mountain, wonderful people.
Small ski area but perfect for senior couple, no traffic jam, no long waiting line to the lift and affordable price.
Really hoping the mountian makes it past this winter. My daughter just discovered it and her love of skiing. Training with the Special Olympics she has had the time of her life and has had nothing but good experiences with all staff on site.
We had a fantastic experience at Hermon Mountain! It was our first time and I had pre-purchased everything online. When we arrived I had a few questions, and everyone was incredibly kind and very knowledgeable. The weather was perfect and it was easy to tell that everyone who works there loves being there. Can't wait to go back!
